Went to the batting cages yesterday…
with my little sister and her friend…and took a couple swings myself (a couple being 20 actually). It was really nice after the bullshit that happened yesterday. I didn’t wear gloves the whole time, so my hands are sore and a little bruised, but I wasn’t half bad. My little sister helped my swing too so I got better. Definitely something I’d like to do again.

Went on an adventure by myself!
So today’s tour ended at Notre Dame, which is apparently right by all the comic shops and japanese (manga) stores :O!
After getting back to the hotel room and eating lunch (and taking a nap) I woke up to my roommate gone and the urge to not waste such a beautiful day. SO I decided to walk to the Opera again (just cause I like it) then take the train to Place de la Concorde and then walk along the Champs Elysee to the Arc de Triomphe and go all the way to the top and take pictures. I did it all! And I’ve started collecting the little medals you can get for 2 euros at all of the major landmarks, so I got 2 more at the Arc :D! My only regret is that today is SUPER hot, so I’m dying right now and may go take a cold shower =/ Also the whole group (I think) is going to the Eiffel Tower tonight to have a wine picnic as the lights go on, and I think I might actually join them. I won’t drink wine (ew) but I bought a small bottle of Malibu Rum. (I haven’t completely wasted my drinking-legalness) :)
